My work is created from the perspective of people’s biological and physical senses, primarily involving visual and sign language.
My works take different forms, such as screenings and performances, but by providing devices to visualize the phenomena produced by these works, I continue to explore our commonalities and differences, while attempting to visualize the social structure of the world. I have publicly presented silent works such as Listen, which conceptualizes “music” in the Deaf community and questions the definition of music etc.
